Obviously I’m going to eat (and healthy!).
I’ve been resorting back to keeping a journal of what I’m eating and doing so that I just have an idea set in the back of my mind about why I feel the way I feel and what foods make me feel better/worse.
Well now I shall get up, shower, and go to school (:
I just seem to have taken a standstill in my hard working out, but I am working slowly to achieve it all (:
Anemia: My doctor has me off of high cardio and heavy lifting. I was so bummed out when he told me, and quite frankly completely unmotivated to continue on with this “journey” (oh how I hate that word…). It’s hard right now because I’m being tested up the wall for what is wrong with me. I’m taking iron supplements to make me feel better (I’m anemic!) and I am on a slightly stricter diet (more things like caffeine are being restricted). The iron supplements are making me have an upset stomach (a known side effect) but they are necessary so we will see if there is any way I can change this up. For the time being I will follow my doctor’s instructions and eat a more balanced diet, and continue with these supplements. My mom is freaking out and thinking worst case scenario that I may get leukemia (this is what she gets for going crazy on google). I’m on my period too so lately the pain I have been feeling is completely abnormal.
For all of the above reasons, I have a new appreciation for Yoga. I have been doing yoga for a few weeks now- Just Gentle Yoga and 2 Mixed Level Yoga classes. It does work me out more than I thought it would, and the way it makes my body feel- all loose and relaxed- is amazing. I feel that if I continue on with yoga, some walks, and a new diet I will be able to successfully slim down in a healthy way still- although I won’t be as muscularly defined as I’d like. That’s okay though because I plan on tackling this health issue and moving forward as soon as is possible. Lately I have had a short patience but that’s what I’m working on- having a new mindset and bettering my mind, body and spirit.
I have literally been attending my morning classes, going to Starbucks and studying til my evening classes. Going home and continuing to study for the past 2 weeks. Then this weekend I did Zumba twice, and went to San Francisco all day Sunday (cruise thingy, bike rides, lots and lots of walking!). Fantastic break!
Tomorrow I plan on doing a hardcore weights workout and some yoga afterward. Then Saturday BBQ at the bf’s house (: <3
